What AI Tools Do I Use Daily and Why?

AI

In an upcoming AI Moment podcast coming November 10th, we discuss our AI tech stack.

Here is my AI tech stack and some use cases.

LLM: Google Gemini as default LLM - so I use it for deep research, limited number of image creations or tweaks of existing images, I use the daily and weekly digests for news or most important industry changes

Analysis: Analysis is two-fold

Example of how I use Dia and Comet to run analysis

  • Gemini in browser with sheets

  • Comet or Dia to ask what did I miss, where are there any flaws or risks,

1 to 6 model explained

1 to 6 model: As discussed previously on the podcast, and in my recent Beyond The AI Hype presentation, I use Gemini to review each transcript, it tweaks based on my prompt - I then ask it to write show notes with another prompt, and then I edit into a supporting newsletter. It still needs me to review, edit and personalise but it is the best at doing this.

Study Aid: NotebookLM to understand topics and create shareable knowledge nuggets - so often I’ll write long form and then create videos or audio to listen through

Dyslexia Aid: ElevenLabs to listen back through my articles or presentations to understand if it flows well as most human readers out there. I have always used - to show readers to slow down or pause when reading. I have dyslexia, so I leverage tools to remove little oversights or when I have missplet or misused a word or phase when I have dyslexia fatigue.

Writing Aid: Writing I have grammarly installed - I tend to ignore it when I feel I can, they over-word togethers and often removes the flow of articles. AI doesn’t always make products better.

Mini Apps: I use Google AI Studio to create mini apps that I can use to review, quickly mock something up. I often find use cases and build mini apps versus long prompts or having to prompts numerous times.

Here is a AI Studio app I built taking one video and mocking up into 6 different places, so from Times Square to newspaper to Instagram story ad

Audio & Video: Riverside and Descript to edit the podcast, videos and make clips to share on social or to coaching clients.

Answer Engine: Perplexity when I need to trust an answer quickly

Long Form Content Checker: Dia and Comet browsers to understand long-form content and see if it’s worth the time investment
