EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

Danny Denhard is a commercially driven Growth, Marketing, and Product executive with more than twenty-four years of international leadership experience transforming how businesses scale, operate, and deliver measurable growth. Having led in-house teams, agencies, consultancies, and marketplace business units across Europe, North America, India, and Australasia, he brings a rare 360-degree operating perspective that connects strategy, product, marketing, data, and organisational design into one unified growth system.

Danny is recognised for turning business strategy into clear, measurable objectives while acting as the connective tissue between creative, technical, operational, and commercial teams. His leadership focuses on redesigning how organisations work by removing silos, improving cross- functional collaboration, and building scalable operating systems that align execution directly to business outcomes. Boards and executive teams consistently value his ability to combine strategic vision with hands-on operational leadership, operating equally effectively as a player-coach, transformation leader, and trusted executive advisor.

KEY ACHIEVEMENTS & COMMERCIAL IMPACT

His most notable achievement was leading JustGiving’s peer-to-peer crowdfunding business unit from $5.5 million to $135 million in annual transaction volume by engineering a new growth flywheel and advanced marketplace growth loops focused on acquisition, retention, and referral optimisation. Through a dedicated eight-person cross-functional growth team spanning Product, UX, Engineering, Data, and Marketing, he reduced reliance on performance marketing, improved CAC efficiency, increased ROI, and helped establish JustGiving as the market-leading crowdfunding platform in EMEA.

At JustGiving, Danny also led the global Marketing restructure following the platform’s $135 million acquisition by Blackbaud (BLKB), navigating brand mergers across multiple territories while delivering a record profitability year, increasing profit from $5.9 million to $13 million through a business model shift from flat fees to a tip jar model.

As Interim CGO at TrustedHouseSitters, a global two-sided marketplace following private equity acquisition, Danny led the redesign of company-wide growth operations. This included implementing cross-functional “alliance” structures across Product, Data, Marketing, and Engineering, developing new operating frameworks, and embedding experimentation, lifecycle optimisation, and growth accountability into the organisation’s core operating model.

LEADERSHIP PHILOSOPHY & METHODOLOGY

Across his career, Danny has specialised in transforming traditional marketing departments into integrated growth organisations. Drawing on LEAN methodology, organisational design principles, and the jobs-to-be-done framework, he redesigns teams and operating environments to maximise

strengths, eliminate bottlenecks, and create more agile, accountable, and commercially aligned growth functions.

His “think big, act small, by when” approach, an adaptation of an established organisational framework, combines first-principles thinking with measurable execution disciplines that allow organisations to scale with clarity and speed. This methodology has been applied across PE- backed businesses, high-growth consumer platforms, and complex two-sided marketplace environments.
